Karagula is a darkly comic and provocative play by Philip Ridley, exploring celebrity culture, obsession, and the lengths people will go to in pursuit of fame and validation. First staged in 2015, the production blended Ridley's trademark sharp wit, heightened theatricality, and unsettling social commentary.
Lucy Penrose originated and developed the role of Libby in the world premiere production, creating the character from its first development and performance, helping to bring Ridley's distinctive new work to life on stage.
